This spoon rest/holder is made of glass. It measure 5 in round and 1 inch deep. The glass is all hand cut, fused, then slumped into a molds. All my creations are fired at temperatures up to about 1500 degrees and then annealed (slowly cooled) for strength and durability. Since glass working is not an exact science, some small imperfections, bubbles, may be appear on the glass.
Hand wash only.
Do not put in oven, microwave, or dishwasher.
The photo may not be the exact spoon rest in stock. Each spoon rest is handmade, and is a unique piece so each will be a little bit different.

- No mass production. Every piece is cut and composed by hand before firing.
- Dichroic glass is inherently variable. Color shifts with light, angle, and layering — so your piece will look different in morning light than it does at dusk.
- Kiln results are unrepeatable. Even with identical materials and settings, the glass moves in its own way. What you receive is genuinely singular.
- Small-batch studio work. I don't outsource. Every piece that ships from Mellyn's has been touched, considered, and finished by me.

Care Instructions
Caring for fused glass jewelry: To clean, use a soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals to clean. Should not be submerged in water, and should be removed when bathing or swimming. Apply perfumes and lotions before putting on jewelry. Use care when handling as can still break if hit or dropped on hard sur-face. It’s a good idea to remove before bed.
Care for Plant Stakes: Plant stakes are for indoor and outdoor decoration. For best results please bring the plant stake in during winter or bad weather. Our Plant Stakes may not survive the Winter.
Care for Dishes, Soap Dishes, Trinkets and in General all Fused Glass items: Hand wash only. Please do not put in microwave, oven or dishwasher

I accept return within 7 days of delivery with approval by Mellyn's. Items must be returned in original condition with tracking on package, and will be refunded less the shipping. Buyer will be refunded when Mellyn's receives package in unused, original condition. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.
